Four European Companies Partner to Advance Urban Delivery Solutions
Radkutsche, CIXI, SEG Automotive and Embedded Innovation are combining their expertise to create a new standard for e-cargo bikes in urban logistics. The collaboration integrates CIXI's chainless pedaling system, SEG Automotive's e-axle technology, and Embedded Innovation's control systems. Fahrwerker's reliable brake systems are also integrated on Radkutsche's established Musketier cargo bike as the first platform to feature the new powerful e-drivetrain combination.
The partnership addresses specific challenges in urban delivery: maintenance costs, system reliability, and rider comfort. The enhanced Musketier eliminates the traditional chain system and integrates smart controls, offering practical benefits and enhanced power for delivery operations and fleet managers.
"With the Musketier, we've created a robust platform for urban logistics—through our partnership with CIXI, SEG Automotive, and Fahrwerker, we are taking it to a new technological level. The goal is clear: less wear, more efficiency, and a better and more powerful driving experience for professional use," says Stefan Rickmeyer, Managing Director of Radkutsche.
"This collaboration brings together proven technologies to solve real delivery challenges in urban environments," says Nicolas Kessler, Business Unit Lead at CIXI.
Professional prototypes will be available for testing at Eurobike Show in June 2025 and ready to order during summer 2025. The project demonstrates how specialized European manufacturers can create practical solutions for urban delivery needs.
